Day 1 |
Arrive at Bagdogra
Airport/ NJP Railway Station. Transfer to Darjeeling, which will
take four or four and half hours. Evening free for leisure.
Overnight at hotel. |

Day 2 |
Local Sightseeing for
Himalayan Geological Park ( In which you can see Snow Leopard,
Himalayan Black Beer, Red Panda and Himalayan birds), Mountaineering
Institute, Rope way (first passenger rope way system in India and
perhaps the longest in Asia, which take approx. 45 minutes.) Tanzing
and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee self helpcenter, Tea Estate and
Libong Race Course. After short break for lunch visit to the Peace
Pagoda (Japanese temple stating different stages of Buddha's life),
Lal Kothi, Awa Art Gallery ( Depicting fine arts and embroidery
works) and National History Museum. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 3 |
Departure by 3 O'clock
in the morning to see the sun rise at the point Tiger Hill (give the
magnificent view of the sunrise over Kanchenjunga and great eastern
Himalayas.) Even the world highest peak Mount Everest is visible
from here. Visit Ghoom monastery (one of the oldest monastery in
India) and Batasia Loop. After lunch, evening free for leisure and
shopping for souvenirs or take an optional excursion tour of the
Rock garden. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 4 |
Departure for Gangtok
(app. 5 hr. journey). Check-in at hotel at Gangtok. Evening free for
leisure. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 5 |
Leave the hotel for full
day sightseeing for Ganesh Tok (temple of god Ganesh), HanumanTok
(temple of god Hanuman) and Tashi view point. After lunch visit for
Directorate of Handicrafts & Handlooms, Orchid century, Chorten
(Stupa), Research Institute of Tibetology, Botanical Garden and
Rumtek Monastery. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 6 |
Visit to 'Tsangu Lake
(about 35 kms from Gangtok, a natural lake of Sikkim bordered by
legends and peaks which flowers during the spring, the lake is
situated at a height of 12,400 ft. on the old trade road between
India and Tibet. Rides on Yaks are offered at the lake side.

Day 7 |
Drive to Lachung.
Refreshment on arrival. Dinner and overnight at hotel. |

Day 8 |
After breakfast,
Excursion for Lachung to Yumthang- Nature walk. Which is on the same
height of Kanchenjunga peak in a parallel way. Spend 2 to 3 hr.
there. This will an excellent opportunity to see over 400 varieties
of rhododendrons which have placed Sikkim on the botanical map of
the world. Breath the pure serene air that wafts down from the snowy
peaks surrounding the valley and feel one with nature. Back to
Lachung (Total journey is 54 km.).Overnight at hotel. |

Lachung to
Gangtok. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 10 |
Departure for
Silliguri by afternoon. Overnight at hotel at Silliguri. |

Day 11 |
Departure for
Delhi / Calcutta. |
